KABC conducted a human trafficking awareness program and legal awareness session with the Western Rengma Baptist Association Women Department on 19 April 2026 at Lolashongnyu Baptist Church. The program was attended by 120 delegates.
The session focused on human trafficking and its impact, ways to stay safe, and the importance of community awareness and support. Legal awareness was also shared on the POCSO Act and child marriage.
For many participants, this was the first time attending such a session, making it both informative and engaging. During the discussion, one participant also shared incidents of below-age marriage, which opened a meaningful conversation among the group.
